I produce it from scratch: arrangement, instruments and mix are made for your song, in your key and at your tempo. The result does not sound canned, it sounds like a recording that did not exist before.
A good fit if: You have your own song or a clear idea of one, and you need an accompaniment that does not exist yet, not a track pulled out of someone else’s recording.
Newly produced, not extracted
A backing track made by separation always sounds like the original, even without the vocals: same length, same flaws, same key. I take the other route and play the accompaniment again. That way everything your show needs can be adjusted: the key for your voice, the tempo for your announcements, the length for your set, an intro to count you in or an ending that closes instead of fading out.

How it works
- Send your material: You send your song, a demo recording, a lead sheet or a reference song that shows the direction.
- Agree on the details: We settle key, tempo, instrumentation and length. If it helps, I listen to how you sing beforehand, so the key really fits.
- Production: I play the instruments, arrange and mix. You get a first version to listen to.
- Revision round: You tell me what should be different. One round is included.
- Delivery: You receive the finished track and the stems within 10 working days as WAV.
Important note: This service produces a new accompaniment. Do not confuse it with three other offers in the shop: the instrumental or karaoke version separates the accompaniment out of an existing recording and costs much less, but it always sounds like the original. The beat production based on a reference delivers a beat as the foundation for a new song, not an accompaniment for an existing one. The virtual instruments add single tracks to a production that is already running. If you are unsure which of the four fits your plan, just ask, it costs nothing.
Frequently asked questions about backing tracks
How is this different from an instrumental version?
An instrumental version is created by separating a finished recording. It is faster and cheaper, but tied to the original: same key, same tempo, same length, and technical remnants of the vocals often stay audible. A backing track is played again and can be adjusted freely.
Can you put it in a key that suits my voice?
Yes, and that is one of the main reasons for this service. Tell me the key you sing comfortably in, or send a recording, and I will build it around that.
Do I get the individual tracks as well?
Yes, the stems are included. That lets you mix it yourself later, mute single instruments or rebuild the track for a specific show.
Am I allowed to release the track?
Yes, for your own song. You receive the usage rights for performances, recordings and releases. Reselling the track as a product of its own is not included.
What if my song is modelled on someone else’s?
Then we sort that out beforehand. A newly played accompaniment to someone else’s song is a cover version, and different rules apply. I will tell you openly what works and what does not.
How long does it take?
Usually 10 working days from the moment the details are settled. If you need it faster, ask; with a free calendar it can be quicker.
