Shipping and delivery

This shipping and delivery information applies to all orders and bookings made through the Tonstudio Leipzig online shop. It supplements the General Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation Policy. The regulations valid at the time of the order remain decisive for the respective contract.

The online shop essentially offers the following types of services:

• Personal on-site recording studio services, for example recording appointments, mixing, mastering, editing, consulting or workshops.
• Digital content, for example audio files, mix versions, master files, stems, instrumental files, voice recordings or export files.
• Vouchers for studio services, issued digitally or for personal delivery.
• In some cases, a physical data carrier, such as a CD, may be optionally provided this is explicitly offered for a product.

Depending on the service booked, delivery will take place either in the studio in Leipzig, digitally via secure cloud transfer or, if agreed, additionally by postal delivery.

Personal recording studio services are provided at the recording studio in Leipzig. These include, in particular, recording appointments, mixing, mastering, editing, consulting, and workshops.

To book an on-site appointment, first get in touch with me without obligation, for example via the contact page, by email, WhatsApp or phone. After we have agreed on your preferred appointment and the scope of the service, I usually require an appointment deposit before the reservation becomes binding, which you pay through the online shop (see section 5a of the General Terms and Conditions). I will then personally confirm the appointment. Should a last-minute scheduling conflict arise, I will contact you immediately with a suitable alternative.

These services do not involve traditional physical delivery. Any digital results from the session will be provided digitally afterward.

Digital content is generally provided via secure cloud transfer or email link. Delivery on a physical data carrier is not standard practice.

You will receive a notification once your order is complete. You can download your files via the link provided in the notification. The files will be provided in the agreed-upon formats, such as WAV and MP3.

The content is provided free of additional shipping costs. Digital content is not shipped in the traditional sense.

The delivery time for digital content depends on the specific service. Purely digital products, which are available immediately after purchase, are usually sent via download link immediately after payment is received.

For services requiring studio processing, such as recording, mixing, or mastering, the processing time begins after recording or upon receipt of all necessary files and information. The specific processing time is indicated on the corresponding product page.

If express processing has been booked, the shortened delivery period will also only begin once all necessary files and information are fully available.

In certain cases, optional shipping on a physical data carrier, such as a CD, is possible for specific products. This will be explicitly offered and indicated separately on the respective product page.

Shipping costs for the data carrier are either already included in the product price or displayed separately during the ordering process. They depend solely on the specific product.

A flat shipping cost figure for the entire shop is not provided, as the majority of services are provided digitally or on-site.

There are no shipping costs for purely digital content or for in-person recording studio services. Digital delivery is free of charge.

The following applies to optionally booked physical data carriers:

• If the delivery of the data carrier is included in the product price, this will be indicated on the product page.
• If additional shipping costs apply, these will be displayed transparently before the order is completed.

The final prices displayed during the ordering process, including all applicable shipping costs, are decisive.

Optional physical media are shipped within Germany via postal service. The estimated delivery time is typically two to five business days after shipment. The exact delivery time depends on the logistics provider and may vary in individual cases.

The product will be shipped to the delivery address provided during the ordering process once it is finished. Please ensure that your address is complete and correct.

Shipping physical media abroad is only possible after individual consultation. If you require shipping outside of Germany, please contact me before ordering so that any additional costs and delivery times can be clarified.

Digital content can generally be delivered outside of Germany as well, since it does not require postal delivery. In this case, the applicable tax and legal regulations of your country of residence apply.

This list is generated automatically from the shop’s current shipping settings and is therefore always up to date. In-person recording studio services can only be booked at the studio in Leipzig, regardless of your country of residence.

Should there be any delays in processing your order or shipping a physical data carrier, I will inform you as soon as possible. Delays can occur, for example, if necessary files or information are late, technical problems arise, or due to force majeure.

If an agreed processing time cannot be met, I will discuss the further course of action with you. Your legal rights in the event of a delay remain unaffected.

When physical data carriers are shipped to consumers, the risk of accidental loss or damage only passes to you upon delivery. I will not use my own transport services without your consent.

With digital content, there is no transfer of risk in the traditional sense. What matters is the proper provision of the file for download or via cloud link.
