I work on your DJ mix with a focus on tonal balance, true-peak headroom, bass and transitions. The aim is a consistent sound throughout the set. Additional loudness versions are optional and are not required for a Spotify release.
A good fit if: You've already recorded your DJ mix or mixtape at home (direct out from your DJ mixer or internal recording from your DJ software) and want to make it release-ready.

- Mix series mastering: for one episode of your regular series, with a sound concept consistent with the previous episode

Important to know: no recording at the studio
This offer is the sound refinement of your finished mix, not the recording itself. I don't provide any DJ hardware (no CDJs, turntables, DJ mixers or controllers). You record your set yourself at home and send me the finished file.
Recommendation for the recording: Direct out from your DJ mixer (no microphone), WAV or AIFF at 24-bit, 3 to 6 dB of headroom below full scale, recorded seamlessly in one continuous take.
How it works

- Personal review: I listen to your mix under studio conditions and master it to fit your target platform.
- Delivery: You get the mastered mix back via cloud link, as WAV plus MP3.
- Processing time: Single mix mastering takes 3 to 7 business days, multi-platform master 5 to 10 business days. With the express option, 48 hours.
Important note: This offer is mastering for long DJ sets and mixtapes, not for individual songs. For single-track mastering, there's the separate offer Online Mastering.
Frequently asked questions about DJ mix mastering
Do you also record my DJ mix?
No. I don't provide any DJ hardware. You record your set yourself at home (direct out or internal recording) and send me the finished file for refinement.
Which LUFS values do you use for which platform?
I choose loudness and true peak according to the material and intended use. Spotify normalises playback and generally requires only one high-quality stereo master per track. The multi-platform package offers different loudness versions on request, not mandatory technical variants.
How long does the processing take?
Single mix mastering takes 3 to 7 business days, multi-platform master 5 to 10 business days. With the express add-on, 48 hours.
Can I book multiple episodes of a mix series one after another?
Yes. For the first episode, we agree on the sound concept once, and after that, further episodes in the same concept can simply be booked again.
Does this also work outside of Leipzig?
Yes, worldwide. You send me your mix via cloud link, and the mastered mix comes back the same way.
